So this week I am going old school in my mind. I want to see if I can cook a hole week from scratch. Meaning no boxed or canned anything. So this is going to be hard for me. I am all about the convince of cooking. I know it is not the best thing for my family so I am going to try. Here is what I have planned so far for the week.
Monday - Home-Made Sloppy Joe
Tuesday - Hungarian Goulash - I normally serve over egg noodles and I haven't made home made paste in years I think I will serve it over mashed potatoes.
Wednesday - Chicken with seasoned white rice
Thursday - Hamburgers with fresh salad
Friday -I am thinking home made tortilla with taco meat and all the fixing
Saturday -Left Over

Yum! I like the idea of challenging myself to do an entire week's worth of meals from scratch. I think I'll have to try it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so good! I am also going to have to give this a try one week to see what I can make from scratch. Thank you so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy looking at your menu plans for my own inspiration. Planning ahead certainly helps out, but it's sometimes difficult deciding what to make. Keep up the good work of trying to cook healthy and from scratch!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your wonderful meal planning posts! For Sunday's meal (scratch pancakes), I have many fond memories of pancake making when I was a kid. Sometimes I would get to help, and we would try pouring the batter into shapes (Mickey mouse, dinosaurs, etc). I always enjoy making pancakes.
