Meal Planning Monday!

So here is the new feature again. Two weeks in a row! I will give myself a pat on the back. Every Monday I will post a Meal Menu for the week. Showing what I will be cooking. Hopefully you will join in the fun and start to make a Menu too! This helps in many ways. One your kids and Husband will know what is for dinner, so there is no more "what's for dinner?" Also you will be able to know what you have to take out of the freezer the night before. If you need more help and info I have found I'm an Organizing Junkie a great resource for this meal planning along with other helpful information. O.K. so here we go.

Monday - Turkey & Stuffing with Greenbeans

Tuesday - Beef with mushrooms and red wine on egg noodles

Wednesday - Speg with meat sauce

Thursday - Hungarian Goulash

Friday - Greenbean & Pork stir fry with white rice

Saturday - Eat Out!

Know for the Hungarian Goulash I am going to share my recipe. Everyone seems to have there own Goulash, but this one my family loves.

2 pounds stew meat
1 cup sliced onions
1 small clove garlic
1 1/2 cup catsup
4 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
4 tsp paprika
1 tsp dry mustard
4 cups water
4 tbsp flour
1/4 cup water

Brown beef, onions, and garlic. Stir in catsup, worcestershire sauce, sugar, paprika, mustard, and water. Cover and simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Blend flour and 1/4 cup water, stir gradually into meat mixture. Heat to boiling, stir constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Serve over egg noodles.

Sounds good to me. So what kind of goulash do you make. Tell me in the comments. I am always looking for new recipe. Hope to hear from you soon.
