Choose To Be Nice ~ Spread The Word ~ #ChooseToBeNice

So I am excited to help spread the word about a great movement called Choose To Be Nice. I am proud to take my pledge and wear my shirt with pride. Yes I will Choose To Be Nice. So you ask what is it? Well here you go.
Their Story

Choose To Be Nice is a long time coming! Dina Creiger, Founder, kicked around the crazy idea of encouraging and inspiring kindness for a couple of years. An unexpected tragedy, the Boston Marathon Bombings, compelled her to finally move forward.
Since that awful day Dina hasn’t stopped thinking about how the world truly is ready for Choose To Be Nice, a dedication to inspiring and encouraging kindness. After all, even in today’s fast-paced, sometimes impersonal world, you still catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Their Mission

The mission of Choose To Be Nice is very simple.  We want to inspire, promote and encourage kindness whenever and wherever possible.

Their Goal

We’re looking for a million people who want to make the world a better place and to help spread our message. When you wear a Choose To Be Nice t-shirt, you’ll notice right away that your interactions with others are more positive and more meaningful. Let us know what you experience when you wear your shirt!  Get your shirt here

So with my new shirt I was off to do some shopping. I headed to my local store and while shopping I had several people say Hi. Yes that does not happen in my town. Now it was my turn to do something nice. I was getting ready to check out with a cart full of grocery's. There was only one lane open of course. I know be nice. I was next in line when a gentlemen walk up behind me with just a gallon of milk. So here is my moment. I said why don't you go in front of me. Which he then replied it was fine he didn't mind waiting I was there first. How sweet right. I insisted he go in front of me. After a moment he finally went a head. They rang his milk up and as he was about to pay he realized he had left his wallet in his truck. He felt so bad. Now he was worried he was going to hold me up. He was going to run out to his truck real fast. Oh no you don't. So I went ahead and paid for his milk and told him one day when he has a chance "Choose To Be Nice" and help someone out. He was so thankful and said he would make sure follow through.

So no matter how small or how large of a thing you do. Just remember you never know when what you do will rub off on someone else and make them do something nice as well.

So what are you waiting for go and make the promise today and Choose To Be Nice! I did.
