There are companies like musicMagpie who will purchase your DVD, CD's and Games from you. It is so easy to use. You just go to their site and enter in the UPC or you can even use your webcam to scan the bar code. This is a blessing in my house. I feel like we are always buying a new game. Once my son beats a game that is it, he is done and on to his next adventure or new game I should say. So instead of these games sitting on his self I can sell them to help pay for his next game.
Also on Amazon you can sell all those books that you have read several times. Yes I like to reread books. You never know what I might have missed the first time and sometimes I feel like I can look at the story different the second time. I have been wanting to clean my book shelf off for awhile now. This would be a great way to sell some of my books so I can buy some different ones. Also a great way to take some of my son's books that he has out grown and purchase some new ones for him to read.
Gazelle is also great place were you can resell your old cell phone. I have boys and they seem to always want a different phone. So of course I have alot I mean alot of old cell phones just sitting around collecting dust. Thanks to Gazelle I can sell them my old electronics and they will send me money for it.
All three companies are great and would be such a help in so many ways. De-clutter you house a bit. Sell your old stuff to help cut the cost of the new stuff. Most of all I might gain a empty draw if I finally get that junk draw cleaned out. So off I go to find my old stuff to sell. I just know that my son have a ton of DVD and games he does not want anymore.

We loving selling our books on Amazon. I also have a stack of games in my room, that as soon as I get motivated, I will be selling via MusicMagpie.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great idea and seems like the easiest way to sell dvds and books. I'll share this with my daughter.
ReplyDeleteWe have a giant box of stuff that we need to get rid of, so I should see what we are able to get for them! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a sack of stuff and we trade them in at the used bookstore in our area. It's huge and they have everything.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great way of recycling and letting others get use out of products that you are not using anymore.
ReplyDeletesounds like a great idea for getting rid of outgrown dvds, cds and videos!
