ReplyDeleteTo old to have school age kids but I have 8 grand kids and I will get to spend more time with them during the summer as I live out of town only come often but between school homework and bedtime I have so little time with them out of school we can go out and do things.

ReplyDeleteActually there are several things I love about June... it's my birthday, the summer solstice means each day will be getting shorter [strange I know but I prefer long nights] and the weather isn't too hot and dry yet. I live in WA so we still have quite a few rainy days and an 80 degree day would be a huge rarity in June!
