Meal planning Monday is the best way to
start off your week. You will know in advance what is for dinner and
what you will need to take out to thaw or just make sure you have. It
is a great way to use what you have in the house to keep your expensive
down for the week. My favorite part is when the kids ask what is for
dinner I actually know the answer and I am not trying to figure out
what I am going to whip up. This also helps keep down the cost of going
out to dinner, you are prepared for what needs to be cooked. So on to
my meal plan for the week.
Monday - Chili in the crock-pot
Tuesday - Trying our hands at a Calzone again
Wednesday - Gortons Mango Spice Fish, Rice and steamed veggies
Thursday - Chicken Sink(every but the kitchen sink in the crock-pot)
Friday - Crock-pot Ribs with corn on the cob and mashed potatoes
Saturday - Left overs
Sunday - Breakfast for dinner - The Works!
Don't forget to stop by the host I'm an Organizing Junkie to all the meal plans. Have a great meal planning day!

We recently started meal planning and it has made our lives much, much easier!
ReplyDeleteI really need to get better about meal planning. It would make my life so much easier.
ReplyDeleteMeal planning is such a smart way to save money and time! I would love to get better at it since it really eases your mind from having to worry about preparing something last minute. I like that you incorporated some crock pot recipes in your week plan. Cooking with the crockpot can also be a time saver!
ReplyDeleteMeal planning is the way to go. It really helps those with busy lives.
ReplyDeleteWow, so organized! I'd like to come over for the Crock-pot Ribs with corn on the cob and mashed potatoes meal! Delicious! :)
ReplyDeleteI've always done meal planning based on newspaper sales and what I had in the cupboard! Feeding 8 kids was not an easy task! Thank goodness for coupons!
ReplyDeleteI love my crockpot and try to use it as often as possible. Meal planning is not one of my favorite things to do but it is so necessary. I wish I was as organized as you seem to be.
ReplyDeleteI love your ideas! Honestly, I should start this system of planning too!
