My First Attempt at Home-Made Sloppy Joe! How did it go?

OK So I have never made home-made Sloppy Joe. My friends have for years. I just went with the easy way, right from a can. The other day my son asked for Sloppy Joe. So I set out to make my own Sloppy Joe recipe. After doing some research on the web I was ready to set out to make my own sloppy Sloppy Joe. So here you go.

Recipe -

2 lbs Ground Beef
one small onion diced
half a pepper diced
1 TBS Minced Garlic
1 1/2 Cup Ketchup
1/2 Cup Water
1 TBS Brown Sugar
1/2 TBS Chili Powder
3 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
                                                         1 TBS Dijon Mustard

Brown the ground beef in a skillet till it is fully cooked. Next you need to drain all the juices from the pan. Return to heat add onions and peppers and cook for about 3 minutes. Then you will need to add everything else. It is that simple. I was very happy the way the flavors turned out.  It tasted so much better then the canned version. I think it is just because it is my own recipe.

So you all know that I can not just stop there I have to take it a step further. My Hubby said he had seen a commercial that showered Sloppy Joe Pockets. (if you know the commercial please let me know so I can give it credit) So I set out to make a Sloppy Joe Pocket. You will need a can of home style biscuits.
Don't they look so yummy. They were a huge hit and they are already asking for them again. I think next time I might add some shredded cheese to my pockets. So what do you think?
