Heelys - On a Roll

When we were given the chance to review Heelys, to say we or Chase was excited is a understatement. As a parent I was worried that Heelys looked a lot like trips to the hospital to me.  So I put my fear aside and allowed Chase to pick out a pair for review.
So here are the shoes that he chose. He went with the 7571 No Bones Lo
"This is one of our most popular models, especially  for those who prefer a shoe with more of a skate profile.  We gave this all-black shoe the official Heelys stamp of approval with a giant Glen Plaid 'H'"
I give him credit for choosing a great pair. I like the look and the over all quality of the shoe.

Let me tell you have we been having fun teaching our youngest how to use his Heelys. I am glad our kitchen is not too big so he can't get going too fast but he is picking it up quick. The Heelys are very cool shoes and I know the kids in his class this fall will be jealous (don't worry, they don't allow Heelys with the wheel in them on school grounds) they just look and fit good, wish they had these when I was growing up, I love to skate anyway and these would have been perfect for cruising around the mall or in the park. Maybe Santa will bring me a pair this year. The styling designs are great, they even have high tops like my old favorite sneakers, the choices are endless. They have such a wide selection of shoes I am sure you can find just what you are looking for.

Know since they didn't have Heelys when we were kids we of course need some pointer on how to do this. So we turned to the Heelys website under Skate 101 and read all about how this would work. The have great tips and tricks on learning how to master the art of Heely Skating. I also found some great tips on there Facebook page from other first time learners. Stop by and check it out. I am off to watch my son skate on his Heelys.
