What's Cooking - Beef & Broccoli in the Crockpot

So for tonight's dinner I am going for a staple meal in my house and it is super easy. Crockpot Beef & Broccoli is a great easy meal. You make it and forget about it till you are almost ready to eat. So easy! Here is what you will need.
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 cloves minced garlic
1 pound beef stir-fry or stew meat
1 bunch fresh broccoli
1/3 cup cold water
2 tbsp cornstarch

So you mix the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic in the crockpot. Once mixed turn crockpot on low and add raw beef. Cook on low for 6 hours. Then you want to mix the cornstarch and water together, then add to crockpot. This is what will help thicken the sauce. Add you chopped up broccoli and cook for another 30 minutes. Then you are done and have Beef & Broccoli. Serve over white rice.

  1. Okay, this is a great blog hop! Twice now I find that you can put raw beef cubes in the crockpot! I could just kiss you(figuratively of course) because you just opened up a whole new cooking world for me!
