In Bed in the Afternoon

Yes it is 12:00 p.m. and I am still in bed. Yes I got up at the crack of dawn and got a cup of coffee. Then I  decide to enjoy my coffee curled up in bed. Why not? Well one reason is my mind starts to go into over time and I sit in my bedding looking at my room wondering why I don't have a room like this.

When did my bedroom become the laundry room. Yes I will admit it, there are piles of clothes all over my room. My end table has everything on it. From my coffee cup to a book never touched. A bowl from my dinner last night at 11 o'clock at night. On top of my dresser is who knows what, I can not see the top of my dresser. There is a mountain of other stuff. A lap with no shade. I wonder what happen to my lamp shade? I want a bedroom that is a sanctuary. Were it is clean and peaceful.  A place for mom to go after a long day and relax. Or just a day when mom wants to sit in her nice bed and enjoy that book that sits on my end table. I am sure there are many of us out there that have aloud our bedroom to become the storage room so that the rest of our house is neat and clean. Well no more. I am taking my room back and making it my sanctuary. Know all I have to do is decide what type of sanctuary do I want. I don't think I can handle a white room so I am leaning towards color. But what color or look should I do? Who has some ideas? This is what I get for sitting in bed, more work for myself. At the end I will have my very own sanctuary.
